About the daily maintenance of electromagnetic flowmeter, we should first understand the measuring principle of electromagnetic flowmeter: it is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The sensor part is composed of coil, electrode and insulating liner. During measurement, the excitation coil in the sensor is energized to generate a magnetic field. When the conducting fluid passes through the magnetic field, the force of cutting the magnetic force line will generate a tiny induced electromotive force. Then it is converted into the corresponding flow data through the formula, and finally displayed to the instrument or output to the upper computer system.
Electromagnetic flowmeter testing and inspection instruments are special inspection instruments and portable PC used together: in the field or calibration room, one end of the special instrument is connected to the electromagnetic flow converter and the other end is connected to the PC, to complete the daily inspection of the test and inspection operations. The application of electromagnetic flowmeter in industry is based on flow control, the flow measuring body is corrosive and wear. In practical application, the faults of electromagnetic flowmeter are mostly caused by corrosion leakage, insulation drop, electrode stain or attachment of foreign matter.
The traditional regular maintenance inspection of electromagnetic flowmeters is to remove the flow sensor from the line for cleaning and inspection, and then perform flow calibration. On the one hand, this calibration method delays the production of enterprises, on the other hand, it also causes sensor wear phenomenon. In order to reduce the flow sensor dismounting damage lining from the pipeline, first measure the insulation resistance on the pipeline to determine whether there are abnormal phenomena, and then decide whether to disassemble the pipeline for inspection or real flow calibration. Electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter product based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The measuring tube of the flowmeter is a short tube lined with insulating material and non-magnetic alloy. Two electrodes are fixed on the measuring tube through the wall along the diameter of the tube.
