Suitable for field use where the site construction is limited and the pipe cannot be broken. For large diameter pipes, the cost does not change much.
Plug-in ultrasonic flowmeter, plug-in sensor installation mode can avoid the influence of pipe lining, scaling, pipe wall thickness on ultrasonic signal attenuation, higher measurement stability, but also greatly reduce the maintenance workload. The plug-in sensor can also be installed online without shutdown under the working pressure of 1.6MPA.
The tube segment ultrasonic flowmeter is one of the three installation methods of the fixed ultrasonic flowmeter with better measurement accuracy and stability, and is suitable for occasions where the flow measurement accuracy is high. The cost will increase with the increase of pipe diameter. It is more economical to choose pipe section installation method for small and medium caliber pipe section.
