Notes For Ultrasonic Flowmeter Installation

1、Ultrasonic flowmeter installed on PVC pipe matters needing attention:

(1) Installation of external clamped probe: because the surface of the PVC pipe is smooth, the external clamped probe directly on the pipe is easy to cause loosening, should be welded with a fixed bracket to fix the probe;

(2) Insert probe installation: Insert probe installation using tube clamp installation (welding PVC pipe seat strength is not enough, easy to fall off).

2、Ultrasonic flowmeter installed on the stainless steel pipe matters needing attention:

(1) It is not suitable to press holes on the stainless steel pipe, because the material hardness of stainless steel is very high, the company's existing opening tools can not meet the requirements;

(2) Stainless steel pipe using external clamp probe measurement will have a good measuring effect, it is recommended to use external clamp installation, insert type control head installation can be directly welded to the installation seat on the pipe.
