This article is based on a task to help customers check the necessity of a magnetic FT211 flowmeter. Customers use magnetic flow meters every day to ensure their pumps are within specification, which is critical to their business. This is why it is important to regularly check the accuracy of the flow meter. To verify that the magmeter was measuring correctly, our technicians brought a cassette FT211 ultrasonic flowmeter, so the task was not to calibrate their reference flowmeter, but to check the flow measured by the cassette and magmeter whether the similarity rate. If the difference between the measured flows is less than or equal to 3%, the reference flow meter must be assumed to be accurate.
