1. The installation site should not have strong vibrations or strong magnetic interference to avoid affecting the normal measurement of the instrument. If necessary, pipe fastening devices should be added at the upstream and downstream 2D positions of the vortex flowmeter to support the pipe or use flexible hoses for isolation, enhancing the anti-vibration effect.
2. Avoid direct exposure to high-temperature heat sources and radiation sources. If necessary, thermal insulation and ventilation measures should be taken. When measuring high-temperature media such as steam, to prevent the converter from overheating, thermal insulation treatment should be carried out to ensure that the flowmeter housing is exposed outside, allowing the heat to radiate outward and preventing the electronic components of the instrument from overheating and affecting its service life.
3. Avoid high-humidity environments and strong corrosive gas environments. If necessary, ventilation measures should be taken.
4. Explosion-proof sensors and transmitters should be installed in hazardous areas. Safety barriers, display instruments, power supplies, computers, and other related equipment must be installed in safe areas. The sensors and transmitters should have reliable grounding, and the explosion-proof ground wire should not be shared with the protection ground wire of the strong current system.
5. The flowmeter should try to avoid being installed on long overhead pipes. Due to the sagging of the pipes, it is likely to cause leakage of the seal between the flowmeter and the flange. If necessary, pipe support points should be set at the upstream and downstream 2D positions of the flowmeter.
6. The instrument is best installed indoors. When installed outdoors, attention should be paid to waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and sun protection. Use a protective cover to shade it, and pay special attention to bending the cable line into a U-shape at the electrical interface to prevent water from entering the amplifier housing along the cable line.
7. The flowmeter should avoid being installed near the valve outlet. Otherwise, the valve's opening and closing will affect the lifespan of the flowmeter, and in severe cases, it may damage the flowmeter. For convenient maintenance, a bypass pipeline should be installed.
8. Please ensure that the medium in the pipeline is in a full pipe state. The flowmeter can be installed on horizontal or vertical pipes. If installed on a vertical pipe, the measured medium should flow from bottom to top when it is a liquid.
