Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter

  Portable ultrasonic flowmeter is widely used in the measurement of fluid volume flow in circular tubes. It has the characteristics of high precision, small volume, light weight, easy operation and portability. The use of portable ultrasonic flowmeter, usually in the harsh environment of the field conditions, therefore, in actual use, due to the field conditions or operators, will affect the measurement accuracy of the portable ultrasonic flowmeter:

 1.Principle of measurement: Since in any existing case the difference between the speed of sound in a moving fluid and that in the same fluid at rest is proportional to the instantaneous velocity of the fluid, it is possible to measure the average velocity along a path by transmitting an acoustic pulse and measuring its propagation time accordingly. Ultrasonic flowmeter is to measure the flow velocity and flow rate of fluid by using the time difference of ultrasonic wave in fluid.

 2.Measurement method: by inputting the parameters of the measured pipeline to the portable ultrasonic flowmeter, the two ultrasonic probes are installed on the outside of the pipe wall and connected with the host through the signal transmission line, the flow data can be obtained.
