Classification Of Ultrasonic Flowmeters

Ultrasonic flowmeters are generally used in projects where pipeline flow data are required. They are classified as follows:

1.Insert ultrasonic flowmeter: installation and maintenance without production. Adopt ceramic sensor, use special drilling device for non-stop installation. Generally mono channel measurement, in order to improve the measurement accuracy, can choose multi-channel.

2.Pipe type ultrasonic flowmeter: need to cut the pipeline installation, but the future maintenance can not stop production. Mono or multichannel sensors are available.

3.External clamped ultrasonic flowmeter: it can complete fixed and mobile measurement. Use special coupling agent (silicone rubber cured at room temperature or high temperature long chain polymeric grease) to install, without damage to the pipeline.

4.Portable ultrasonic flowmeter: portable use, built-in rechargeable lithium battery, suitable for mobile measurement, equipped with magnetic sensor.
